It’s finally time to meet your travel mates and start your journey in the Mexican Caribbean! Tulum is world-famous for its stunning white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and unique Mayan temples located right next to the seashore. All of that topped with a very laid-back Mexican atmosphere.

Get ready to be immersed in Mexican culture and start acquiring language. Take your first lesson right after breakfast! Later in the day, you’ll get to know a pretty local cenote (sinkhole), which is a crystal clear water opening in the middle of the jungle. Later in the day, we will visit a stunning local beach, near Tulum!

Bacalar is a beautiful  Pueblo Magico located right next to an amazingly blue lagoon. It used to be one of the gateways for the pirates of the Caribbean! After your morning Spanish lesson, we will travel by local bus to the stunningly blue Bacalar lagoon (3 hours). After settling down, we’ll take you to a local swimming spot and enjoy the gorgeous 7 colors lagoon! Enjoy a relaxed evening in a true Mexican paradise.

Palenque town is renowned for its mystical Mayan temples perched on the hills of the rainforest. Palenque is the entrance to the incredibly diverse state of Chiapas, one of Mexico’s best-kept secrets. After the long transfer we’ll need some time to get back our energy, so no Spanish lesson today, instead we will see if the team is feeling like organizing an afternoon barbecue (with veggie options) with some beers!

Get ready to go back to your Spanish lesson after breakfast. Later on, we will visit the impressive Palenque archeological site, located in the hills of the rainforest, it is one of our personal favorites, the Mayan museum next to the ruins is also worth a visit. We will then visit a local community to learn a bit about their traditions and ways of living.

Get back on track with your morning Spanish lesson. Gear up for a field trip to a local waterfall!  We will take you to one of our favorite ones in the country, which is located an hour and a half from Palenque, we will spend most of the day there relaxing next to its pristine waters surrounded by the mighty rainforest!

San Cristobal de las Casas is a very unique town located in the highlands of the southern state of Chiapas.

Its refreshing mountain weather and its pre-hispanic cultural characteristics create a perfect contrast with the rest of modern Mexico.

Today we have an early start due to the long transfer and windy road conditions we have ahead of us. We will have a delightful stopover at Aguazul waterfalls, where we will go for a refreshing morning swim in its famous blue waters. After an early lunch at the waterfalls we will continue traveling towards San Cristobal (6 hours), where you will have the Spanish lesson of the day.

After a full-on day yesterday, we will break the routine and go for a short hike after breakfast today. we will visit Arcotete park and we will have our Spanish lesson over there! Get ready to experience the Maya sweat lodge or Temazcal in the afternoon.
